Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the Inkfill mobile application ("the App") and website, operated by Mowgli Labs, LLC ("Mowgli Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). Inkfill is a system of record for independent tattoo artists and studios — providing a unified inbox, lead and quote management, online booking and calendar tools, a private client waitlist with automated cancellation recovery, automated client communication, payments and payouts, client relationship tools, and AI-assisted drafting and insights throughout. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you provide as an artist

• Account information — your name, email address, phone number, studio/business name, and password when you sign up.
• Client and appointment data — the contact details, appointments, deposits, and preferences you enter or import for your own clients, such as name, phone number, email, booking history, and style, size, or availability preferences. You control this data; we process it on your behalf to power scheduling, the waitlist, and notifications.
• Billing and deposit information — when you subscribe, or when a client pays a deposit through Inkfill, payment details are handled directly by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Support and bug reports — if you contact support or submit a bug report in the app, we collect your description, app version, and device information.
• Contact form submissions — name, email, and message content sent through our website contact form.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — how you interact with the app, including screens visited, slots opened, and notifications sent.
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your artist account and subscription.
• To power online booking, your calendar, and deposit collection.
• To match open appointment slots to the right clients on your private waitlist and send them SMS and/or push notifications.
• To generate AI-powered insights, such as cancellation risk predictions and client recommendations, based on your account's booking and waitlist activity.
• To process subscription billing and client deposits through our payment processor.
• To respond to support requests, bug reports, and contact form messages.
• To improve the app based on aggregate, de-identified usage patterns.
• Marketing email — only if you've opted in, to send you product news, tips, and occasional offers. This is separate from the transactional emails required to run your account (billing receipts, security notices), which you'll always receive regardless of this setting.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your client data with other artists or studios. Your data is yours. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Notification delivery providers — SMS and push notification vendors we use solely to deliver messages you send to your own clients and waitlist.
• Payment processor — to process your subscription payment and any client deposits collected through Inkfill. Their privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inkfill, our users, or others.

Data retention

We retain your account, appointment, and client data for as long as your account is active. You can export or delete your client and waitlist data at any time from within the app. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

You can:

• Access, export, or update your account and client data from within the app at any time.
• Request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by contacting us.
• Control how and when your clients are notified — you set the notification rules, and clients opt in before receiving any messages.
• Opt in or out of marketing email from Inkfill at any time from Profile → Email preferences in the app. This never affects transactional emails required to run your account.

Children's privacy

Inkfill is a business tool for tattoo artists and their adult clients and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of Inkfill after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
